Follow these steps when you are unable to save changes made to the Yahoo account settings:
• Make sure your internet network is working fine.
• Make sure that you are using the supported and updated web browser to access Yahoo.
• Clear cache and cookies from your web browser.
• After that try saving the changes made to Yahoo account settings.
• To access Yahoo account settings, go to Yahoo Mail > Gear Icon > Settings >Account.
• Make the required changes and save them by clicking the Save button.
• If you find the Account Settings back to its default settings, it may be a case of hacking. Resetting the password for your account is suggested in such case.
