  Truthfully: does anyone out there really know how to teach advanced calculus to forty-something guys who have just lost their jobs and are: terrified, angry, depressed, bewildered, asked to enter a world for which, if they had any affinity for it, they would have entered it straight out of high-school, and in such a lost emotional state that they couldn't figure out how to use a set of housekeys?
