Adding 8 more teams/cities to the NFL would amount to a total of 40 teams, from 32. The eight divisions would have 5 teams each, instead of 4. The question is, who should new franchises be awarded to? Before discussing the cities, it's important to discuss whether 8 more teams would be reasonable for the NFL, economically speaking. Many analysts would scoff at the idea of bringing in so many more teams. They would say Christian Kirksey Womens Jersey that the abundance of teams will have a negative effect on the bottom line because the league would be spreading itself too thin. It depends on perception. There could be a smaller percentage of profits available for the 32 teams, but it also depends on how success is measured. Jacksonville has fulfilled its obligations at every level, but the league demands more. They want more gate money and a flawless reputation.
If the NFL lowered standards to a degree where exceptional profits one year and average profits another is not the end of the world, then more teams could participate. Greed plays a huge role in any expansion talks.
The league should adapt to be more reasonable and accepting of when an organization runs smoothly, but profits are not through the roof, yet not so bad, either. Ultimately, more teams spread out through the country, provides opportunity for more marketing and the potential for bigger profits in both the short term and long term.
The other argument against such progressive expansion is the dilution of talent. This is another fallacy. The college game provides plenty. at all levels. With more teams, there may not be as many great one handed catches per game, but the variety of teams should bring a freshness to playcalling and improved strategies for winning over more fans to the game.
The most likely choices for new franchises would be in Los Angeles, Portland, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Orlando, Omaha, Sacramento Pierre Desir Kids Jersey and Salt Lake City. Each of these cities are chosen for different reasons, some obvious, others not so obvious. Los Angeles, San Antonio and Las Vegas seem obvious. Big metropolitan areas with the right organization shouldn't have big problems bringing it all together. San Antonio has the Alamodome, LA is already preparing for a team and Vegas (without any pro team) is always in the conversation.
Portland, Orlando, Salt Terrance West Womens Jersey Lake City and Sacramento all support NBA teams and are big cities with enough infrastructure to rally their cities for a team. Omaha is growing, progressive and a good geographical fit.

What's the worst city to watch NFL football on TV? According to 506 Sports, it's right here in the Bay Area. The site, which puts out broadcast maps showing who gets what contests each week, tracked this info for the entire season and ranked each TV market for quality games.
According to this list, Salt Lake City was the best place to be to watch quality football and we were the http://www.brownsofficialnflauthentic.com/authentic-christian-kirksey-jersey.html worst. This is probably due to the fact that we had every Raiders game on here, and you could hardly describe any contest featuring the 2013 Silver and Black with the word "quality". Apparently this package is no longer as valuable to fans since the advent of the RedZone channel, which is carried by most cable and satellite outlets, and because of the expansion of Thursday Night Football, which has removed one contest each week that would've been on Sunday.
Making things more complicated is the fact that before the season started, it was reported that was interested in replacing DirecTV and had been in talks with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. This would be a boon for the Mountain View based tech company which is in the process of rolling out a subscription TV service.
With deep pocketed competition looming, speculation is that DirecTV will end up giving it one more go, but drop out after the new deal expires, thus opening it up to or others. The cost and length of the new deal are still being negotiated. The satellite carrier will pay $1 billion for the 2014 season, the last year of the current deal. The NFL reportedly wants $1.4 billion for 2015.
Finally, Saturday night's matchup between the Colts and the Patriots on CBS will be the final broadcast for analyst Dan Dierdorf who's stepping away from the mike after 26 years. Early incarnations of the football helmet were soft, flimsy leather hats with flaps that covered the ears. Plastic helmets were introduced after World War II. Wearing helmets became mandatory in the 1930's, but logos on the side of helmets didn't become the norm until the late 1950's when owners discovered their marketing importance. It was Los Angeles Rams player Fred Gehrke, a former art student, who was the first to paint a team logo on his helmet in 1948. Cleveland Browns quarterback Otto Graham was the first to wear a single bar face mask in 1955.
Naturally, the most popular NFL uniforms are associated with the most successful franchises; the Dallas Cowboys, New Christian Kirksey Jersey England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are annually among the best selling teams. Starting in the 1990's, the NFL recognized the importance of selling jerseys. Expansion also added new teams and new looks to the mix. One of the league's most unique uniform dilemmas occurred in 1995, when the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore but kept their name and colors for a new expansion franchise.
