A trip across the Nullabor hasn't shaken Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat's determination to be the first winners of the FFA Cup.
Football Federation Australia confirmed the round of 32 draw for the inaugural competition on Wednesday, which sees Victory take the Bayern Munich jersey sale long flight to Perth to play Bayswater City.
Ahead of the cup's first games next Tuesday night, Muscat said he had eyes on the trophy.
"We are taking this competition seriously and are definitely focused on winning the Cup," he said.
"To be the first club to hold the Cup would be something we would cherish and everyone at Melbourne Victory knows that our fans would be expecting us to be there come final time as well.
Bayswater City currently lead the National Premier League WA and Muscat said they would be a tough opponent.
"We can't take this game lightly and I've got no doubt that all the players will step up when this competition begins," he said.
After weeks of uncertainty surrounding the two WA-based fixtures, the WA Athletics Stadium has been confirmed as the host of two round of 32 matches.
Bayswater City will host Victory on 20 August, with local side Stirling Lions taking on A-League champions Brisbane Roar the previous evening.
The 16 matches in the first round will be shared across four weeks, with games played mid-week to avoid clashes with our competitions.
Matches will be played at regional grounds in every Australian state, including non A-League cities Hobart, Wollongong and Ballarat.
The Victorian goldfields city will host arguably the match of the round, when Melbourne City play Sydney FC on August 12.
As well as being Melbourne City's first match with their new moniker, the club could hand new signing Damien Duff a debut.
The two clubs Messi argentina jersey were involved in off-season animosity as City sought, and were denied, permission to play in sky blue home kits this season, Sydney's shirt colour.
The other all-A-League matches are Newcastle Jets v Perth Glory and Adelaide United v Wellington Phoenix on August 5.
More than 600 football teams entered the FFA Cup through their state-based cups, which now double as qualifiers for the national competition.
Fox Sports will telecast a number of games from the competition, including the final on December 16, beginning with opening match Broadmeadow Magic v Brisbane Strikers on July 29.

The Wellington Phoenix shocked English Premier League outfit West Ham United 2-1 on Wednesday evening at Auckland's Eden Park.
In a clinical all-round performance, the hosts illustrated the value of a full pre-season under manager Ernie Merrick and looked the more composed of the two sides.
West Ham looked short of match fitness and were left to rue becoming the first English side to lose in New Zealand since Scottish team Hearts did in 1976.
Two early goals gave the Phoenix a 2-0 lead after 26 minutes before a scintillating strike from Mauro Zarate set up a frantic final quarter.
But Wellington didn't buckle and continued to illustrate their growth under Merrick with a mature performance.
Albert Riera proved his class in cheap Barcelona jersey 2015 defence, while Nathan Burns' aggression on attack rattled West Ham. Midfielder Matt Jarvis was dangerous down the left flank, but was left frustrated with his teammates' finishing.
The two sides marked a minute of silence to pay tribute to Newcastle United supporters John Alder and Liam Sweeney, who were killed in the MH17 disaster.
Winston Reid was given the captain's armband for the visitors ahead of usual skipper Kevin Nolan, while Alejandro Gorrin, Burns and Andrew Blake were all given starts by Merrick.
Phoenix captain Andrew Durante celebrated his one-year extension with the club with the opener. Gorrin's free-kick found Durante unmarked at the near post and he converted to give the hosts a surprising 1-0 lead after 12 minutes.
West Ham supporters were then left stunned after Gorrin calmly slotted a 25-metre shot past a diving Jussi Jaaskelainen to double the Wellington club's lead.
The match levelled out significantly in the second half before Zarate's superb strike from 25 metres cut the deficit to a goal.
Stewart Downing had an opportunity for an equaliser in extra time but the Phoenix stoically held on.

Arturo Vidal has told the Italian press that he will not be going to Manchester United this summer, but admits he still does not know if he will be staying at Juventus and is waiting to hold talks over his future on Monday.
There has been intense speculation that the midfielder could be on the move since before the transfer window opened, but he has repeatedly played down the reports.
He kept his focus on Chile at the World Cup and is still enjoying a break before reporting back to Juve, where he has been a key player for the past three years.
The 27-year-old will speak to new boss Massimiliano Manchester City jersey 2015 Allegri at the start of next week and admits his future is uncertain, but appears to have ruled out a switch to Old Trafford.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, Vidal insisted that he was still enjoying life in Turin and urged fans not to worry.
Vidal, who is under contract until 2017, said: "I'm still on holiday at the moment. Can I say I'm staying at Juve? I don't know. On Monday I'll talk to Allegri then we'll see.
"I'm happy here. I'm calm. I believe Juve fans can be too. I still haven't spoken to Allegri or my team-mates."
Asked if he was Barcelona N98 jacket going to Manchester United, he added: "No, no."
A number of clubs have been linked with Vidal this summer but United were reportedly leading the chase and they are prepared to spend heavily if necessary.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward stated earlier this week: "The reality is that we're not afraid of spending significant amounts of money in the transfer market.
"Whether it's a record or not doesn't really resonate with us. What resonates is a top, top elite player that the manager wants that is going to be a star for Manchester United."
As a youngster we all wanted to pull on the famous #10 shirt, sported by football greats such as Pele, Maradona, Platini, Zidane and Lineker to name but a few. An aura hangs over those players blessed with the talent to pull on this special jersey and wearing it at the World Cup just adds to the honour.
Step forward the class of 2014 as the likes of Messi, Neymar, Rodriguez and Benzema press their claim for the history books and continue the legacy. With all in competition for the prestigious Golden Boot award, our own Lovell Soccer team cast an eye over the current crop of players still in World Cup action in the Quarter-finals.
James Rodriguez – Colombia
A player many will have been unfamiliar with prior to the World Cup, the Monaco striker now leads the way for the Golden Boot award and is the name everyone is now talking about. With five goals so far along with a couple of assists in his adidas adiZero F50′s, the young attacking midfielder has spearheaded Colombia’s strike force and reinforced their status as one of the top ranked teams in Brazil.
Perhaps the biggest compliment Rodriguez has been paid is having comparisons drawn to Colombian icon Carlos Valderrama, coincidently another famous number 10. With a 23rd birthday the day before the World Cup final, should Colombia make it all the way then this will certainly be the icing on the cake.
Neymar – Brazil
If there is one player in Brazil who should be feeling under the most pressure it has to be Neymar. You would never think that the number 10 is carrying the hopes and dreams of team-mates as well as 200 million fans, as everything he does is displayed with such a level head that belies his young age. Having moved to Barcelona last year, it is evident that Neymar saves his best for the international stage and Brazilian fans certainly aren’t complaining. When it comes to penalty kicks, this is one player you want in your team as he is coolness personified.
As the face of Nike, Brazil football and quite literally the whole country, aside from his skill and haircut, it is the Hypervenom Bayern Munich jersey 2015 Phantom boots Chelsea authentic jersey 2015 which are commanding plenty of attention and contributed to four goals in the tournament so far.
Lionel Messi – Argentina
Having pretty much won it all and enjoyed regular success at club level, Lionel Messi will still be judged as to how good he actually is by whether or not he lifts the World Cup. There have been plenty of great number 10′s who never won football’s top prize but when you are following in the footsteps of Maradona who did then the pressure is really on.
Argentina haven’t exactly been great in Brazil and Messi himself has only shown glimpses of his star billing but when he does turn on the skill then this has proved the difference against opponents. With four goals to his name, this is another example of the adidas adiZero F50 being on top of the world when it comes to scoring and only Messi could carry off a bespoke design featuring his nation’s colours.
Karim Benzema – France
It’s not as if Benzema has big boots to fill put previous occupants of the French #10 have included Michel Platini and Zinedine Zidane, the latter who scored twice in the 1998 final. Manchester United jersey 2015 Aside from their shirt number, Benzema also plays for Real Madrid just like ZZ and so French fans will be hoping the striker emulates his predecessors.
With three goals in the tournament so far, the French striker has also attempted more shots than any other player so is certainly not goal shy. Strength and power define his play and with a little help from the adidas adiZero F50, this tally looks set to increase with the Germans next in the firing line.
Canberra United has signed a number of new deals to set it up for the coming W-League season, with former US under-23 goalkeeper Chantel Jones set to replace the injured Lydia Williams and the University of Canberra the club's new major sponsor.
Jones was in contact with United boss Heather Reid almost as soon as she witnessed Williams go down Arsenal jersey 2015 with a season-ending knee injury, playing in the US National Women's Soccer League.
The 26-year-old was in goal at the other end of the field when the injury happened, playing for the Washington Spirit alongside one of Canberra United’s American midfielders, Lori Lindsey.
Jones is familiar with the W-League, having played for Perth Glory last season, and United captain Nicole Begg (nee Sykes) is confident the 180cm keeper will slot right in when she arrives in early September.
“We need someone with some experience behind us because Lydia’s always going to be really hard to replace – we saw that when she did her knee [in 2012] … there’s just no one in Australia like Lydia who can do that job,” she said.
“Hopefully Chantel will be able to come in and I think Germany Autentic jersey from all accounts, she’ll fit into the team really well. Lori plays with her in the US … and Lori’s got good judgment.”
When the season begins, United will be wearing the University of Canberra logo on their shirtfronts, after signing a two-year sponsorship deal on Thursday.
The University already has the naming rights to the Brumbies and owns the WNBL licence for the Canberra Capitals. Both those teams are based on campus, but United will remain at the Australian Institute of Sport for the time being.
“We continue to use the university gym, and when the fields are ready we’ll certainly be using the fields, but if you have a look at them now, they’re not as in good condition as the AIS,” Reid said.
"From next season I think we’ll be trying to base our coaching staff and our training here, once the fields are restored and we’ve got a good grassed area to train."
University Vice Chancellor, Professor Stephen Parker said the sponsorship was another step towards UC becoming the leading university for sports research and sports education.
“To do that we’ve got to be able to work with teams, elite teams and community teams, so our students can do Argentina Authentic jersey projects and placements and work with athletes, and our researchers can also do the same,” Professor Parker said.
“Our students will be working with them … and also we’ve got some great facilities now for testing and so on, which is not in use all of the time, so we’re really keen to make it available to Canberra’s teams.”
Trudy Burke, United’s alternate goalkeeper of the past two seasons declined an offer to return for a third, so Melissa Maizels will step into the role from Melbourne Victory, where she was the third keeper.
Georgia Yeoman-Dale is also not returning after taking up an offer with Newcastle Jets. The recruitment of Jones means American Kendall Fletcher will come into the side as a guest international player in November for the last five rounds and finals.
