There is an amazing mystery of Banke Bihari Temple is that it is believed that those who look into the eyes of Banke Bihari Ji idol, that person lose its consciousness just by gazing at it. Hence, to protect the idol, priest covers the eyes of the idol and only unveiled it for few moments during the time of Aarti. The fascinating thing is that this temple offers silent prayers unlike other temples who use bell and conch during the time of aarti.
