Introduction to DPE chemical
Dipentaerythritol (DPE) is a white octagonal powder crystal and an important fine chemical intermediate mainly used to produce polyether, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd resin, and photosensitive resin film in the coating industry.
Stability: DPE chemical is very stable in the air and does not absorb water easily.
Other physical and chemical properties: DPE chemical is slightly sweet and basically non-toxic.
Preparation: DPE can be extracted from products of the side reaction in the production of pentaerythritol.
Uses: DPE is mainly used in high-grade paints.
As an important fine chemical intermediate, DPE chemical is considered as a mid-to-high grade product in the pentaerythritol industry and is mainly used in high-grade paints and mainly used to produce polyether, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd resin, and photosensitive resin film in the coating industry.
