Watch parties organized by supporters from both sides were held in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with crowds of expats tuning in to witness Donald Trump’s victory.
At the Stafford hotel in London, Republican supporters celebrated in the upscale "American Bar" in historic St. James' as Trump appeared close to victory in the early hours of the morning. Across town, a crowd of young election enthusiasts cheered beneath the blue light of a big screen at the Lexington watch party.

The remains of a cake featuring Vice President Kamala Harris' face were left resting on a table at the Democrats Abroad election party in London. Supporters were also seen posing for group photos with a cardboard cutout of the vice president.
