  Radha Kund is located in Mathura and is dedicated to Goddess Radha. This pond was created by Radha hence it is called Radha Kun dor Radha Pond. There is an interesting story behind this pond. Aristasura was a demon who was sent by the demon Kansa, uncle of Lord Krishna. He took the form of a fierce bull and started terrorising the people of the village. When he was heading towards the village near Mathura, Lord Krishna killed him. Witnessing this Goddes Radha told Lord Krishna to wash off your sins, and then Goddess Radha along with her sakhis made a pond there for Lord Krishna to wash off his sins. The two sacred ponds are there dedicating each to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. You can do Radha Kund Parikarma, Govardhan Parikarm and Shyam Kund Parikarma during the visit of Radha Kund.
