Are you on a Shimla and Manali tour? To make your tour memorable and stress-free, you should know the distance between these two beautiful hill stations and the best route and transport service to make your Shimla and Manali Tour easy.
The distance between Shimla and Manali is approx. 248 km. It takes around 6 to 7 hours by car to reach. Time may vary as it all depends on the weather, road and traffic conditions. You can Start your journey from Shimla, then reach Bilaspur to Mandi, and then, kullu to Manali. Although the roads on those two hill stations are well maintained, you must be cautious due to unexpected landslides in the hilly areas.
It would be better to avoid visiting any hill station during the time of the monsoon because the chances get higher that you will experience landslides and heavy rainfall. It would be suggested to visit during summer and winter. Some people even avoid visiting during winters because snowfall makes dew drops everywhere and makes it slippery in some hilly places.
