We are representing an international Pharmaceutical company with US offices in Northern NJ. Our client is building out their compliance team to accommodate the growth of the business which is expected to double within the next 3 years. We provide an environment that is adaptive, strategic, encouraging of taking risk and canter's around team work. The size of the compliance department affords you a broad scope of responsibility versus larger companies that provide a narrow scope of work. You will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities of Compliance Director -- Operations:
Establish compliance requirements related to Market Access, Managed Care and Procurement Operations
Partner with Quality Services to maintain SOPs and assist in the training of internal employees on all relevant SOPs and policies related to key compliance areas
Ensure appropriate controls are built into policies at development and monitoring plans
Serve as primary Compliance representative on committees including Pricing, Procurement, Incentive Compensation, Grants, Local Medical Review
Develop policies & procedures on interactions with HCPs
Provide guidance and leadership on government contracting, pricing, formulary review, reimbursement and procurement matters
Contribute to the design and communication of Incentive Compensation plans that meet Compliance requirements
Identify key risk areas and establish mitigation plans for government price contracting and reporting, related to Compliance with applicable law (Anti-kickback Statue, Robinson-Patman Act, etc.)
Requirements of Compliance Director -- Operations:
Education: Bachelor's degree a must....advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 8 years work experience
Minimum of 2 years recent compliance experience gained from Pharmaceutical, Med Device, or Biotech
Experienced at implementation of compliance programs
Knowledge of Veterans Health Care and Robinson-Patman Acts, Federal Supply Schedule Contracting, Federal Ceiling Price, Anti-Kickback Statute; and federal/state transparency and disclosure laws
