After just one game, it was clear that using the ENGINE Chemistry Style with this Kane card wasn’t the right choice. Even with a Dribbling upgrade, Kane still couldn’t move as smoothly as some other players, and his lack of Pace remained a major issue.

In earlier FC titles, Kane’s cards were more reliable, often converting every big opportunity with ease—this version doesn’t quite deliver that same level of confidence.
The emphasis on PlayStyles in FC26 means Kane could have benefited from additional Shooting Tree options, especially considering his real-life versatility in front of goal.
Despite high stats like 99 Finishing and 97 Shot Power, shots sometimes lacked expected accuracy and force; interestingly, his left foot felt even more effective than his right in clinical situations.
The Finesse Shot Plus trait proved useful, but there were still several missed chances that would typically be goals.
One area where Kane excelled was heading from corners, consistently posing a threat and scoring, which is not always common.
Value for Coins: Is Kane Worth It?
Kane's current price might drop, which would make his value more reasonable compared to what he offers on the pitch.
When assessing strikers, it's clear that Pina is no longer in the same conversation due to her overwhelming dominance and budget-friendly price tag.
The main drawback for Kane is the availability of TOTY ICON Rooney at a slightly lower cost; given the choice, Rooney is the obvious pick.
For Kane to become a truly attractive option among similarly priced players, his price would need to fall closer to the 500k range.

Even his 84 long passing gets a notable boost thanks to the LONG BALL PASS PlayStyle.
- While Kane's larger frame does limit his pace and dribbling ability, it also brings significant advantages to his physical game.
His presence during set pieces, especially corners, stands out, making him a constant threat.
With ENFORCER, FIRST TOUCH, and 90 strength, he becomes a difficult challenge for any opposing defender, consistently using his size to dominate physical battles on the pitch.

Kane definitely excels when it comes to holding off strong defenders, making him a reliable target up front.
However, his main challenge lies in building up speed after receiving the ball.
Applying the HUNTER Chemistry Style made a noticeable difference, significantly boosting his pace and making his forward runs feel much more dynamic.
Still, Kane’s acceleration is underwhelming—despite a high rating, it doesn’t translate well on the pitch due to his body type and lack of explosive traits like QUICK STEP or LENGTHY AcceleRATE.
To get the best out of Kane, it’s essential to involve him while he’s already moving; this helps both his dribbling and overall effectiveness.
If you try to create chances from a standstill, his dribbling loses its edge, and sluggish movement can make it easy for defenders to shut him down.
Final Verdict: Should You Get Kane?
Recording 13 goals and 3 assists across just 5 Weekend League matches is certainly impressive, especially considering the strength of most opponents’ lineups.
However, for Kane to truly stand out as a must-have option, I was looking for stats closer to 20 goals and 5 assists—numbers that might have been possible with sharper Shooting and more agile Dribbling to fully utilize his reliable Passing.
Disappointingly, those high expectations were set by previous years’ versions of Kane, but this year’s FC26 gameplay feels quite different, and unfortunately, he didn’t deliver as hoped.
Given these factors, I’d recommend steering clear of this card for now.
Ironically, it wouldn’t surprise me if I end up packing an untradeable version of Kane in the future, despite my reservations.
