I painted a Flamingo because, at that time, I felt emotionally vulnerable. I called the painting ‘Tranquillity’ because, particularly in the one leg pose, the Flamingo bird exudes peace and stillness which suggests the importance of keeping our emotional balance and maintaining a balanced life, getting rid of things that block your progress.
