In football, attacking is in a way doing the unexpected. Creative gamers are often described as "artists" and are very popular. Offensive soccer tactics aim to bring the ball close to the opponent's goal and achieve the best possible angle to score.
Pass and move
It is the most basic team tactic. As soon as the player has possession of the ball, he must be quick to decide whether to pass or not; whether they pass immediately or not, they need to move following the movement of the ball. Once the player has passed the ball, he should not remain stationary but instead move to a position where he can receive a return pass and thus give the player in possession of the ball more options.
Passing side to side of the field to a player with free space is a very effective way to relieve pressure and build a new attack. The defending team will need to adjust their positions, and this generally creates spaces that can be exploited. In the example in the image, player number 1 has moved out of position, allowing more space for the opposing player. Changing the game to that side (the curved line represents an aerial pass, allows the player who is free to exploit that space.
