www.emanualonline.com SCAM!

Hi!

First i want to tell to everyone that i am located in Europe, and english is not my first language. I own a workshop in my country and sometime i need for repairing or  servicing shop manuals for different models. So, i start in searching of Google few websites who offer these services. And found many SCAM WEBSITES around.. Who take my money and SCAM me.

http://www.emanualonline.com is the first treated in this blog, who intend to prevent ordinary peoples to commit crimes and being cheated. First example, this website, emanualonline.com.

It look to be legit, see this picture:

www.emanualonline.com SCAM

But is not. This is one of the biggest SCAM website from the internet. Their location is fake, too. I personal check with Google earth the addresses from they said are located, and guess what? In Germany, it is a postal office! In North Ireland, doesn’t exist that address. In US, they are located ….in a public parking??  And really? Company named Gmbh? Only in Germany exist this type of companies..

Whois Domain? That is another secret. Why they are hidden this information, if they have a legit business?? With 3 offices in 3 different countries. All three, actually fake locations, fake offices, fake addresses.

Phone no. 08708904499 does not exist!

Fake business and a very good scammer(s) behind of this. He create a very good illusion of legitimacy..

I contact the admin of this website in order to see if they are selling these software legally. They inform me that there is a federal  law that requires manufacturers to publish the software for repairs.

That is true.

What the admin of this website “forgot” to tell me, is that they do not have the legal right to resell these software. So, they break the law, a federal and international law, named copyright law. And because they are hacking these software, that is another serious crime.

That is not all… The buyers do not know that actually they are about to commit a crime. At the moment the customer install the hacked software on his computer, the owner of the computer have commit a crime. This website can disappear overnight, and the manufacturer can ask to user of this software for  damages. The producers of the software can easy detect the computers who use their software, isn’t?  I own a honest business, and my workshop computer can be check anytime by authorities, so this guys are actually put my entire business underground if i use their products..

So, in the first stage, you will buy a hacked software from this website, they will teach you how to crack the software or they already do this, and sell to you. An illegal product.

Another fact.

These software can be easy downloaded and installed for free, if you take the risk to install into your computer a hacked software. So, no need to pay for this “manuals”, any software can be found for free in forums, torrents and in many other places..  Actually, these are the sources for this website.. Just google-it, and you can find these for free. If you want to take the risk to commit a crime, at least do not pay to this SCAM website anything..

Take a look to this example:

emanualonline.com SCAM

That is the exact description of the Ford CO software. For the year 2012, 5GB.

This software can be legally sell only by Ford company and Helminc.com.

My conclusion about this website? emanualonline.com IT IS A BIG SCAM. Double cheating his customers, who actually do not know that they are about to commit a crime.

I think the days until a huge scandal will start against this website are numbered. And soon we will listen to the TV where the owners of this website are  going…  Like many other scammers before.

Keep your credit/debit card far away from this website!

Last updates.

They finally modify their office. It is located in India. Beware.

And trustpilot post a red alert about their website and the attempts for posting fake reviews on Trustpilot. Of course, they are from India.

  1. emanualonline is a SCAM, I agree. I paid for and downloaded a manual which in fact was NOT a PDF file manual at all but an unidentifiable executable (.exe) file for a windows machine which looked like it could be anything, including spyware or malware. As I am on an Apple Mac I contacted them and asked for a PDF file of the manual.

They respond quickly but specialise in asking questions to things you have already told them, over and over, pretending to be interested in your vehicle, like you them the make and model of your vehicle multiple times and they respond, “What year is your vehicle?” it is mighty suspicious, as if they are idiots, or doing this on purpose. I asked for a refund.

They then say they can install the manual on my computer if I give them ACCESS TO MY COMPUTER VIA INSTALLING REMOTE SOFTWARE. I ask them how do they think they are going to install an unidentifiable windows file on my Apple computer remotely? They reply, “We will set it up,” Yeah right.

Ha ha. It’s incredible. Really, you think I am going to give Rahul and his scamming team remote access to take control of my computer? When they cannot explain why they cannot offer a refund or print out AT THEIR END a PDF FILE, even a PDF file in sections if the manual is large as they claim. “Manual is large, we will set up on your computer,” is this a joke? No, it is a SCAM.

They cannot explain how they are going to magically install a manual on your computer remotely other than using the magical words, “We will set it up,” Sure you will. Like someone should set up you being shot in a cannon into outer space Rahul.

I agree with the original poster above who has done a lot of research. They have set themselves up to appear as if they have a lot of five star good reviews but they are a complete scam.

Do not install the file they have you download if you are on a Windows computer and DO NOT allow them to have you install remote viewing software if you are on a Mac or any other machine that allows them to TAKE OVER your desktop and computer to magically install their manual.

Rahul and his team are SCAMMERS.

  2. Emanualonline (should be renamed emanualwasteoftime) I fortunately always use Paypal when I’m not sure about these online outlets. Just as well. I complained to Paypal and they refunded me in full. Why they allow companies like this to use their facilities, but ironically if they didn’t I would have lost my money. Having said that it wasn’t a lot of money- £15.00 which I suppose is what they rely on. Many people wouldn’t bother pursuing them for a refund, but I persevered out of principle. I needed a manual for an Alfa I was working on for a client. I have a Mac. Every time I tried to download the manual I kept getting a message basically saying it was not compatible to download on a Mac. I contacted emanualonline and they either did not reply for days or passed it onto someone else to deal with or kept sending the same link that of course didn’t work. If you telephone their so called helpline a recorded message from BT, the telephone company, says the number does not exist. Of course all this took so long my customer was complaining and I had to find the information I needed elsewhere. Their scam is obviously to keep giving you the runaround until you get fed up, give up and they profit.

  3. Yes a con. Bought a “manual” and dowload attempts all failed. There only solution was that they could do it remotely!! That would have given them access to my computer and evrything on it – no way was that going to happen. Complained to paypal for non delivery – paypal found in favour of e-manuals. E-manuals had sent me a link so therefore it was delivered! upshot is I have paid for something I never received and will never be able to read!

  4. Having read all the preceding comments I would like to add my ‘two pennys worth’.
I have been buying manuals from eManuals – on line for a number of years now, and have had a couple of problems, but always solved in the end.
    1. Manual had no wiring diagram in it & wasn’t of much use as our problem was electrical… They refunded the complete purchase price.
    2. File size was too large to successfully down load. They installed it on our Gdrive.at no charge.
I think some people are just born to complain.
eManuals – on – line are an established company that does try to do the right thing by the customer.

  5. Unfortunately I fell foul of the same scam from ‘Rahul’. Surprisingly PayPal don’t already have him in their sights despite the fact that I am obviously not the first to let them know he is stealing our money (and Paypal’s). If anyone finds out where this low-life lives, please let me know, I will gladly take part in any appropriate retribution.

  6. I had the exact same experience with Emanual online (and Rahul) as JWebb above. I sent 26 emails to Rahul asking for a refund or asking for them to send me what I paid for. The final solutions from Rahul is to let him have access to my computer. I gave up working with them at that point and chalked it up to experience.

  8. ****THIS IS A HUGE SCAM. WE JUST LOST $6500 from our Visa card using this company. *****
They asked all the questions about our vehicle, & sent us a link. We paid via the link. Then they emailed to say we hadn’t paid enough & sent another link. We paid again and our visa bill came back as almost $250 New Zealand!! Not only that but it was the wrong manual! We sent so many emails asking for a refund and they ignored us. We have disputed with Visa and told Rahul at emanual online and now he’s suddenly interested, asking us to send him our visa statement! I don’t think so! They should know themselves how much they have taken from us. Not only that but we discover today that our Visa card has been since fraudulently used to buy $6000 worth of goods from a company in England we have never heard of. We live in New Zealand. Absloutely gutted that companies can get away with this.

  9. Same story here, I paid for a download that was 46GB and used up heaps of credit to down load only to have a fault so I could not view it. I then purchased the manual on USB as suggested by them and once I opened it there is just random pieces of vehicle information collected from different sites. It is not a comprehensive workshop manual, there are no systems operation, fault finding and testing as in every other manual. So glad I did not accept their offer to remotely connect to my computer. This was the only help they offered when I repeatedly asked them to tell me where these sections were located. This is defiantly a scam site and everyone should avoid it. Certainly wish I had.

  11. I tried to download. Nothing. This site is a scam. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. Stay away from this company. I wish I read these reviews before I placed an order. This is my first online scam. Sad, sad, sad.

  12. Ordered the English version of the Vauxhall Astra H manual with ‘full information to professionally repair’ my vehicle. Opted for a 19.1 simple PDF file due to internet constraints here. PDF link OK. Download OK. When I opened the PDF file I was horrified to see that every single tech spec table was in the original Russian and therefore totally useless in an English manual.Couldn’t even extract the tech spec to run through a translator. Complained to their customer ‘support’ and had multi email exchanges with Bojan and Rahul. They first denied there was a problem then, after sending them PDF files showing the tables in Russian, they tried to offer an horrendous 8GB download which stopped at 200mb FIVE times. I explained I needed a simple PDF version and didn’t want their OVA virtual machine running on my laptop. They refused to refund and continued to push the bloated download for a substitute manual which didn’t fit my needs. They wanted to send it via google Drive or remote access ignoring the fact that it would still be an 8GB download; not feasible around here unless you want to wait for hours. No way would I trust them enough to give them remote access to my laptop. Paypal dispute has now been escalated for the manual being not as described ie. English manual with all tech spec in Russian. Hoping for a full refund. Some of the Russian to English text translations were weird too. I have never heard of a ‘velcro faroomyvatelya’, vtoroichnogo circuit or vykyuchatel reversing lamp on an Astra H before. Will never buy another manual from them. ‘Customer support’ is a complete misnomer. You get the runaround to try to wear you down. It might only be £18.99 but it’s my £18.99 and I want it back.

    1. Not a reply but an update. Paypal found in my favour and the seller had to offer refund but wanted the download sent back to them before they would refund. Asked paypal how I should send it back and was advised to email the seller asking for an upload link or if it their agreement that it could be mailed back on a TF card to their London address. No answer from the seller, which was deemed unreasonable, and Paypal refunded the price.Seems ‘intangibles’ like manual downloads are covered by the Paypal buyers guarantee if not delivered or significantly not as described. The refund was important but the principle of not letting the scammers win was even more so. Kap-la!

  13. I too purchased one of these emanuals and no matter what I tried to do it would not download. I found their down loads more trouble than they are worth. Took far to much of my time so I just gave up. Will never buy one of their manuals again and when I buy one elsewhere I will only buy it on a disc or a stick. One should never have to put up with this crap. You buy something you should get it. You should not have to spend more time than the product is worth trying to download it.

  14. I also purchased a manual for a fiat Ducato motor home, It doe’s not display the correct information for the model year. Many emails back and forth, asked for a refund under there policy looks like I have no chance of ever getting that. Very disappointing I am going to contact Pay Pal and see if I can get my money back via them.

  15. Just to update a comment I posted on 28th January.

I opened a dispute on PAYPAL, after a few messages back and forth to emanual I gave up because they where not addressing the issues I had with them. So I escalated it to PAYPAL, I got a message back from PAYPAL saying that I am eligible for a refund.

So don’t let these scammers get away with it.

  16. Yup. Scam. They have my money but I do not have the product and they refuse to refund. Will be going through payment provider for a refund. Wish I saw this site before they took my money. If you’re like me and finding this site after the fact, don’t waste your time asking them for a refund, just go directly to your payment provider and report them.

  18. Definite scam …You CAN get a refund from both PAYPAL and your Bank (UK) by lodging a withdrawal of funds back from eManualonline account, which you can do 15 days after the purchase if you do not get satisfaction or refund directly … neither of which (100%) you will get. So contact PAypal or C/C company immediately and lodge your withdrawal of funds request!

  19. EMANUALONLINE MAY ONCE HAVE BEEN LEGITIMATE BUT IS NOW A SCAM. I bought a manual for $13.99 to do a common repair on my 2008 Prius and received a download that did not have the information I needed. I emailed them and was told they had the manual I needed but haven’t received the manual, nor have I received the refund I finally requested. Also, the program I did get doesn’t work well on Windows 10, not at all – what was there was very hard to read and that only with much effort. I then contacted Sancrac, a guy who promotes them on YouTube and also offers to help. I emailed him and have received no response. I suspect he’s part of the scam although he appears to represent himself as an independent YouTube review. I could have suspected something when I tried to pay using their PayPal link which didn’t work. ONLINE REVIEWS – probably written by eManualOnline and aren’t real at all. CONCLUSION: this is now a scam, if it was ever legitimate. My recommendation: STAY AWAY.

I have complained and received several messages telling that the problem was solved
    It never was
This is a shame to take 18.99$ and not deliver the promised product.
To be avoided as much as possible
