"I bend my head against worthy people who with wearing safety vest sweep the streets, mow the grass, collect leaves, plant trees, bushes and flowers," says President Vidin. How do they perceive their work? And how do others perceive it?
When Cadim arrived a few years ago, reporters from the program "Black and White" were surprised and even shocked by how many people swept the city from the early hours of the morning. - Every day so clean up? The reporter asked one of the women. - Yes every day. It's always the way the city looks clean, "the woman asked.
When we walk in New Solti, we often do not notice those who are the cleaners on the streets. - With their work a little is that it is purely in the streets, but we do not wonder who is responsible for it. And it is really worth appreciating them - says Jerseys Calare, head of the New York public works.
And that's why we want to show the faces of those who are unnoticed, and they just deserve it.
"Pins in the teeth and tempo 1000"
Thursday, June 8th, 4.45 are New York City public works. Work is preparing for a spec group, which is directly managed by Ms. Eva. She divides the areas where the heroes of the text swarm that day. They wear reflective vests, in bundles of brooms and shovels. Once they know where they will go in two- or three-person groups in the day, Mrs. Eve concludes, "My dear ones: the teeth in the teeth and the pace of 1000". This is a morning form of mobilization to work.
"My people know what that means." They know that we need to mobilize, to act quickly, and to do our best every day, so that no one can blame us for failing somewhere or for something to go wrong, coordinator of the cleaning group.
Just after 5.00 on 1 Maia Street, Mr. Krzysztof Sodas has been walking his steps in public works for three years. When almost all of the New Salt sleeps still sweetly, he is bloated around the house, boiling water in a kettle and overflowing with coffee.
- I get up at 3.00 in the morning. I do not have an alarm clock, the body is already used to it and the person gets up alone. I think in my head I have an automatic alarm clock - K. K. Codas.
- I drink coffee first, and then I can go to work. No sugar, no milk. I learned so. When I come to the base, I prepare the wheelbarrows, all the equipment needed, the boss gives the list to sign and start. Where will he say we go - I hear from the only man in the cleaning team?
- What exactly do you do? - I ask. - Sweeping streets, sidewalks, pulling weeds. In winter, it is the worst, with no warm pants and pants in it. And anyway you can get cold, and that's fine. Hands stiffen, legs too ... - adds Mr. Krzysztof.
- Somebody appreciate this work; some nice word will tell you how you work? - I ask.
"Once, probably two years ago, I had such a situation. Polish Army, that one lady praised me. "You do, you sweep, and it will be nice." This happened only once...
- There are those who do not know us personally good day will tell. They appreciate what we do. But there are others who can say, "Sweep, since you are." Still others in our side and a bundle can let go. A separate problem is with some dog owners. Their quadrupeds, by apologies, will make the street, and the owner, as he draws attention, can say: "From here you are, clean up", who on the day of our meeting was sweeping, among other.
"It is really disingenuous for them that someone can tell them that they really care about the cleanliness of our entire city," admits the coordinator of the group who cleaned. "But the word" thank you "should be the answer, not the pouring of human bile on them," adds E. Danni in reflective clothing.
