  Most of the Tortilla chips are prepared using corn. And most of the corn which is grown in US is modified. The genetically modified chips are linked to some health risks which includes cancer. Even the flour tortilla chips possesses preservatives in them. So, we must make our own tortilla chips. I have a good recipe for the leftover chapatis. The chapatis are made from whole wheat, flax seed & wheat germ. Utilize your own masalas for the flavour and taste. Ingredients: - 5-6-Whole wheat chapatis - Little amount of ghee or oil to spray on every chapati.- Spices- Red chili powder- Dry mango powder- Cumin powder- Salt Method: - Get your chapatis ready by applying some ghee or oil on them.- If you wish to utilize zero oil, just pour some water. Water supports the masalas to stick to the chapati.- After applying oil cut every chapati in half & every half in four pieces. So you would get eight wedges from every chapati.- Preheat oven to 350 F. Procedure: - Put every pieces on a baking sheet with oil side up. Spray the masalas on them. - You could mix each masalas or spray them separately. PLace it in the pre heated oven for five mins. After five mins, flip them to different side. Repeat it by putting the baking sheet in oven & pay attention. It takes like five to seven mins. It took around six mins. To me.- Allow them to cool down for five mins. when they are completed. Put them in airtight container. Distribute them with homemade guacamole or salsa. Helpful Tips: - You may also utilise pita bread for forming chips.- You could utilise the favorite herbs & spices. Health Information: - The chapatis here are prepared using flax seed, whole wheat, wheat germ. They are enriched with fiber & protein.- The commercial chips whether they are flour or corn, consists preservatives.- Corn chips are even bad because most of the corn grown in US is genetically modified, unless we buy certified organic chips.   Coconut Laddu Recipe-Your Sweet Companion In Festivals

  Laddu There are many methods to make this simple recipe of coconut laddu. Also another usual way it’s made with condensed milk or milkmaid. More often, I make it in same manner & the components just lowers to two with no extra sugar needed. But here I will strongly suggest the following recipe to save your time. Coconut laddu recipe could also utilize the vaporized milk as the substitute to condensed milk. It will support to control sugar content & could be included as per the priority. Primarily, I desiccated the coconut to make the laddu, where raw & grated coconut could be used. If fresh coconut is utilized, assure to dry roast it before you add the milk. Also I strongly suggest to make the laddu’s in low flame as the coconut & milk may blaze on more flame. And finally, in the place of jaggery, sugar or brown sugar could also be utilized. The colour of coconut laddu with jaggery will be brown in colour. Ingredients:* coconut fresh / desiccated-2 cups * milk-1½ cup * sugar-¾ cup * cashew sliced-2 tbsp * elaichi powder/cardamom powder-¼ tsp * desiccated coconut-2 tbsp Instructions: - Firstly, in a big kadai take 2 cups of dessicated or fresh coconut & 1½ cup milk. - Combine properly to assure the coconut gets wet fully. - Then add ¾ cup jaggery or sugar. Drop more sugar for the taste if needed. - Mix consistently maintaining the flame on low. - Sugar starts to melt & mixture turns watery. - Continue stirring to keep the flame on low. - Milk starts to vaporize after twenty mins & mix turns crumbly. - Cool the mixture for ten mins or until they softly cool down. - Then add 2 tablespoon sliced cashew & ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder. Mix them well. - Make tiny balls to make the ladoo. - Roll it with desiccated coconut. It is optional, but still it makes laddu more pretty. - Then, distribute coconut laddu or keep in an airtight container for a week.

Ingredients:* coconut fresh / desiccated-2 cups * milk-1½ cup * sugar-¾ cup * cashew sliced-2 tbsp * elaichi powder/cardamom powder-¼ tsp * desiccated coconut-2 tbsp Instructions: - Firstly, in a big kadai take 2 cups of dessicated or fresh coconut & 1½ cup milk. - Combine properly to assure the coconut gets wet fully. - Then add ¾ cup jaggery or sugar. Drop more sugar for the taste if needed. - Mix consistently maintaining the flame on low. - Sugar starts to melt & mixture turns watery. - Continue stirring to keep the flame on low. - Milk starts to vaporize after twenty mins & mix turns crumbly. - Cool the mixture for ten mins or until they softly cool down. - Then add 2 tablespoon sliced cashew & ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder. Mix them well. - Make tiny balls to make the ladoo. - Roll it with desiccated coconut. It is optional, but still it makes laddu more pretty. - Then, distribute coconut laddu or keep in an airtight container for a week.

Let it to cook for two minutes and then add in some turmeric powder and red chili powder to it and mix. Add some water to this and some salt to taste. Cook this for near about twenty minutes with lid on. Add in the tamarind soaked water when the vegetables are almost done. Then heat some oil and add the mustard seeds to it till it crackle, add curry leaves and red chilies to it. You have to pour this mixture in the sambar rice and serve it hot. It’s a very nutritious food as well as stomach filling with a yummy taste to boot!
