I was all zombied out (or so I thought) a few years back when I gave in to all the hype surrounding the new AMC series The Walking Dead. I have been a Deadhead ever since so I'll be spending an obscene amount of time enjoying the on going Walking Dead Marathon on AMC until it culminates with the season premiere of the series this Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9pm. I am not in the targeted WD demographic since I'm a female baby boomer. We are not supposed to like blood and guts, and damn, there is plenty of that on The Walking Dead.
However what non Deadheads don't understand is that the emotional component of the show is what makes the bloody template just the starting point. We care about Black Leather Applique 140mm and identify with men and women (and children) who must exhibit their will to survive daily. We've lost so many friends along the way, but that is another element that makes the show so touching.
So fellow Deadheads, are we looking at cannibals vs. Rick's Avengers this Sunday? The possible cannibalism angle has been a hot social media topic since the final episode of last season. Heck, we might even be disappointed if that mystery meat at Terminus turns out to be something other that people parts. The bottom line is: I can't wait to find out.
Philadelphia's iconic sports broadcast Bill Campbell passed away earlier this week at the age of 91. While there was sadness at his passing, there were also wonderful memories to savor. Campbell was the voice on the radio during my earliest years of Phillies fandom beginning in 1964 when I switched from being a Yankees fan.
Confession time: I loved Maris and Mantle and Whitey Ford but after Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale turned the mighty Yankee bats into matchsticks in the 1963 World Series, I was done being a Yankees fan. I was 10 years old. End of confession.
Who knew I would feel even more heartache my initial year as a Phillies fanatic when they engineered the biggest late season collapse in MLB history. Despite that, the soothing voices of Campbell and By Saam kept me glued to my radio even for the west coast games when I had to hide my radio under the covers. My bedtime was not 1am even in the summertime. Campbell was also the voice of the Sixers for a time and the Eagles and the Philadelphia Warriors, making him the only broadcaster in Philly sports history to have all four teams on his resume. By all accounts Campbell was also a great guy, a devoted husband and a man who was willing to help others in his profession.

Brookfield owns the Hard Rock Casino Hotel in Las Vegas and the Atlantic Paradise Island in the Bahamas, but would still have to formally be licensed in the state of New Jersey before reopening the Revel property for gaming. Articles about Sylvester
Nearly as often as Seibel delivered his trademark ". and the marshal calls the pacers," during Friday nights races, Seibel was saying, "Will Chuck Sylvester please call extension (pick the numbers)." Sylvester, it became apparent, is a popular guy. Everyone from the press box to the dining room wanted an audience. Maybe Sylvester was just popular. Or, perhaps it had something to do with the countrys best juvenile trotting filly, Winkys Goal, who will be the heavy favorite to win her division in Fridays Breeders Crown championships. The check Black Patent leather Anna 120mm came to $4.5 million, and Dr. Stephen Nimer, Sylvester's director, accepted from The Pap Corps Champions for Cancer Research president JoAnne Goldberg. His father, former Dolphins tight end and broadcaster Jim "Mad Dog" Mandich, weakened by bile duct cancer, led the Black Leather Ambertina Bejeweled 140mm pack on a lap around the stadium to launch the first Dolphins Cycling Challenge. The elder Mandich gave a hopeful thumbs up and vowed to ride again the following year. He was unable to fulfill that promise, passing away in April 2011, but the event he inspired has grown into a powerful legacy in furthering the fight against cancer in South Florida. But, while Birds decision gets Sylvester off the citys payroll, he said it does not get him out of the citys hair. Sylvester, 43, said he will continue to fight to prove he did not violate Police Department policies as Chief Charles Kilgore, internal affairs investigators and, now, Bird claim. API says federal methane cuts unneeded and would be costly
From the American Petroleum Institute:
WASHINGTON, October 29, 2013 Fifty six percent of voters nationwide oppose changes to the tax code that could decrease investment in energy production and reduce energy development in the United States, according to a new poll conducted by Harris Interactive for API's "What America is Thinking on Energy Issues" series.
"An energy and manufacturing revolution is taking place in America," said API Director of Tax and Accounting Policy Stephen Comstock. "Well crafted tax reform could complement America's rise as an energy superpower. But badly done, tax reform could significantly harm Suede/Glitter 8 Mignons 160mm America's energy production, cost jobs and revenue to the government, and make us less energy secure."
Fifty four percent of Democrats, 63 percent of Republicans, and 56 percent of Independents said they would oppose changes in the tax code that could decrease investment in energy production and reduce energy development in the United States.
An overwhelming majority of voters (81 percent) agreed that politicians in Washington should solve the country's budget issues without raising energy taxes.
"Whenever the debate in Washington turns to spending and debt, a few politicians repeatedly haul out proposals for punitive tax increases on oil and natural gas," said Comstock. is important, a sentiment reflected by API's 15 million strong and growing network of grassroots activists. Majorities also felt that raising taxes on oil and natural gas companies could drive up energy costs for consumers (69 percent) and negatively impact the country's job market and hurt the economy (56 percent).
API is a national trade association that represents all segments of America's technology driven oil and natural gas industry. Cash For Gas Partial Coal Asset Monetization Bringing More Clarity to Consol's Long Term Plans Reaffirm Buy Rating
Our Call
We expect investors will increasingly support this current step regarding Consol Energy's emergence into an energy growth vehicle. Generating a higher than expected value for a portion of its capitalized, non core thermal coal assets while de risking its balance sheet and providing accretive growth capital for its shale holdings should allow valuation to improve as coal and natural gas markets normalize. We would add to positions.
Value for Non Growth Assets. Management appeared to facilitate a very well matched sale for its well capitalized thermal mines while retaining very strong, flexible, and higher value operations. Securing cash, future royalties from select mines, and relieving itself of legacy obligations provided a well structured transaction for stakeholders, in our view.
Hidden Value Emerges. Management has consistently communicated its desires for the market to apply more appropriate values its coal/related assets and to provide more visibility to the growth White Suede/Glitter 8 Mignons 160mm potential of Consol's Marcellus and Utica Shale holdings. During the past eighteen months, Consol's equity valuation has well outperformed its coal, but underperformed its shale peers. While not the best of times to sell coal assets, the valuation applied by the purchaser, privately owned Murray Energy, serves to validate a portion of management's desire.
Execution the Key. As management continues to work on one or two other asset monetization transactions to further recapitalize its company during the current quarter, we expect the market will place increased focus on its reserve positioning and growth as well as drilling, infrastructure, and gas production growth plans relative to its Eastern shale oriented peers
Lots of Moving Parts; However, More Value Remains. Our initial analysis of the transaction, balance sheet, and EBITDA adjustments supports shares that remain underpriced at current levels. We believe that as additional, but smaller sized, non core asset sales emerge, thermal and metallurgical coal market prices normalize and Consol's shale profile achieves targeted growth, the valuation gap should continue to narrow during the next 12 18 months.
Tomorrow morning, Consol Energy reports Black Crystal Alta Perla 100mm Q3 2013 results and senior management plans to meet with investors and analysts in NYC.

TULSA, Okla. Gulf Coast. The Open Season will begin on Oct. CDT and conclude on Dec. CST. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its third year of greenhouse gas data detailing carbon pollution emissions and trends broken down by industrial sector, greenhouse gas, geographic region, and individual facility. The data, required to be collected annually by Congress, highlight a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions as more utilities switch to cleaner burning natural gas.
"EPA is supporting President Obama's Climate Action Plan by providing the high quality data necessary to help guide common sense solutions to address climate change," said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. "Putting this data in the hands of the public increases transparency, supports accountability, and unlocks innovation."
Greenhouse gases emitted through human activities such as transportation and power generation are the primary driver of recent climate change, which threatens the health and welfare of Americans by increasing the likelihood of hotter, longer heat waves, fueling more frequent and intense extreme weather events, and worsening ground level ozone, an air pollutant that causes respiratory and cardiovascular health problems.
EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program collects annual greenhouse gas information from over 8,000 facilities in the largest emitting industries, including power plants, oil and gas production and refining, iron and steel mills, and landfills. In addition, the program is receiving data on the increasing production and consumption of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) predominantly used in refrigeration and air conditioning. The Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program is the only program that collects facility level greenhouse gas data from major industrial sources across the United States.
The 2012 data show that in the two years since reporting began, emissions from power plants have decreased 10 percent. This is due to a switch from coal to natural gas for electricity generation and a slight decrease in electricity production. greenhouse gas emissions. carbon pollution.
