Work is one place you probably want to be as productive as possible. Because at work it is all about trying to get a lot done in the shortest amount of time. And for this you need to make sure that you create a productive workspace for yourself. If you do not know how to do that then here are a few tips that should help you create a more dynamic environment that allows you to thrive: No Clutter! Seriously just clean up your desk first. It makes a world of a difference to have as little as possible on your desk. So de-clutter and get rid of all those things that slow you down and prevent you from being organized. The messier you are the more difficult it becomes to find things when you need them. And when you can’t find things quick enough then you become slower, thus wasting a whole lot of time looking around for missing items. Get rid of the clutter by organizing yourself. Put everything in little compartments and label whatever you can because this helps you find everything you need a lot quicker, which in turn, speeds up your productivity. Inspire Yourself Have inspirational quotes and images above or on your office desks. There is no need for your work space to be drab and dull.  Make sure to surround yourself with all that inspires you and motivates you to work harder and be greater. Go all out and decorate your space with all the things that make you happy and remind you that you need to push through the difficulties and keep working hard. Using encouraging quotes, images and phrases will help you keep your head above the water on the days that you feel like your drowning. And having them there might even motivate others who are walking by your space and in need of some encouragement. Lighting is Key Bad lighting will cause you to strain your eyes and/or feel extremely sleepy. Both of which are terrible for how productive you can be. Natural light is always what is best for you. It keeps you awake, energized and feeling a lot healthier than artificial lights. If you are in a room that looks like a dungeon, then it is most unlikely that you will be at your highest level of productivity. However, if you have no choice but to use a room like this, then make sure to step outside of the building every once-in-a-while in order to get some fresh air and good old sunlight. Your working environment deeply affects your productivity levels whether you realize it or not. So take a look around you and try to figure out what needs to change and what needs to be kept as it is in order to boost your level of productivity. Simply de-cluttering and taking care to decorate your space will really change how it looks, thus impacting your mood (for the better hopefully) and enabling you to be more productive.
