What impact does the "maker movement" have on education?

Primary students are using 3D printers, developing a robotics project or learning new uses of computer programming is the new spirit that breathes in education adapted to the digital age.

Some may call it playing with new technologies, but what they are really doing is acquiring the new competencies that will define their professions and will make them subjects of their time, prepared for a new labor and social paradigm.

The "maker movement" in education
For a long time ago, the maker philosophy settled in society as the technological evolution of Do It Yourself, thanks to the democratization of certain elements.

In general, learning by projects qualifies the use of each subject and the process is much more fluid and satisfying than the classic exercises in which to apply formulas to cases, which can now simulate themselves.

The greatest learning that students receive with the "maker" movement, in addition to teachers, is the understanding of how everything they learn can be used in their daily life, which encourages them to investigate and find new experiences.
