Is the "Apple slowing down older phones" a US thing? I ask because I have a 6s Plus, nearly 2 yrs old, and it does not seem slow to me. My kids use my old and battered 5s for games and YouTube, and while it is clearly slower than my 6s it is perfectly usable. Prior to this I used an old 4s, that to me remained perfectly fine until I upgraded. 인터넷바카라 Also, most of the people I know and work with have iPhones (a few even used a 3GS or whatever it was called, until about 6 months ago) and I have never heard any complaints of slow phones from them either. Yet forums and articles are full of slow iPhone stories. I hail from little Denmark, so I wonder if that’s anything to do with this discrepancy?

Anyone else having issues with Rdio today? 바카라사이트  I have $125 of pending activity on my account (Rdio Gift Certificates) that I didn't authorize. Fifty dollars worth posted after I contacted Rdio via email to ask about the first $75. Tried to get them on the phone but failed. Already contacted my bank. Thanks, Mike

At the same time, Dr Yik's letter should encourage Singaporeans to think carefully about the role that opposition parties should play in our society. 카지노사이트 Singaporeans will not be content with just having a voice. They need a plan and want to see a clear direction. Banners and slogans will neither address the concerns of Singaporeans nor fix the country's problems. We have to recognise that real, meaningful change is not made from condensing complex and difficult national problems into simple political catchphrases. 온라인카지노 Instead, it is brought about by addressing these problems directly and solving them through sound policies and competent governance.   Yes, lending an ear to the people is undeniably important - and leaders of all stripes should strive to do so. But the work does not end there. Rather, it is only the beginning: Having heard the people, actions have to be taken promptly. Leaders from opposition parties should not be telling people only about "what went wrong". They should also tell Singaporeans "what to do" and, more importantly, "how to do it". Words and resolutions without solutions are nothing more than castles in the air. 온라인바카라 Opposition parties should be less a political force to oppose than a constructive bloc to propose new and innovative solutions to remedy the country's problems. Major pieces of a constructive political or governance architecture always comprise strong leadership and clear direction. They are never built upon mere rhetoric and pithy talk. The last thing that Singaporeans would want is a political landscape dabbed by specks of parochial party interests and political bickering devoid of form and meaning. Despite the fact that a coalition of opposition parties may be in the making, it still comes down to having policies and proposals for real, meaningful change to make the difference.

It is sad, but true, that the worth of a person today is increasingly measured by the salary he commands, the type of car he drives, the grandeur of the house he lives in and the luxurious lifestyle he can afford. 인터넷바카라 What is more worrying is that this reality is slowly but surely causing an increasing dichotomy in perceptions and sentiments between the elite and the ordinary folk, and between governing bodies and the man in the street. It does not help when communication is beset with implications of "not listening to feedback", or a "talking down approach" to issues raised. It is further aggravated when ordinary folk who are struggling to make ends meet conclude that those in authority lack empathy and that those making policies do not understand the sentiments on the ground. 카지노사이트 My work as a general medical practitioner allows me to interact with people from different levels of society and the feedback given to me is far from encouraging. It would seem that many organisations and agencies are far more interested in projecting a good image than in solving the problems of society.   Written queries and requests are often given standard answers, which elaborate on written policies but which mean very little to those who still face the same problems. I am also concerned about the responses of the younger generation, who pepper their comments with vulgarity, showing little respect for the office of those who are given the responsibility to govern. There seems to be little awareness of where we have come from as a nation, as well as an increasing sense of entitlement. 온라인카지노 In the early years of our struggles as a nation, the general populace felt that the leaders were one with them. The people were willing to endure hardship when they sensed that there was a unity of purpose and objective. With this growing dichotomy mentioned above, the question that begs to be answered is whether we, as a nation, can weather future crises with the same resolve that was seen in the early years. As a nation, we cannot afford to progress with just the hardware and not the "heartware".

From ofo to Mobike to GBikes, bike-sharing firms are everywhere now and they owe their rise to two factors. Those who are health-conscious, and those who want to move away from using vehicles like cars and buses, which have a larger environmental footprint. 온라인바카라 Bike-sharing has been immensely popular, but it has also seen irresponsible parking of bikes and other anti-social behaviour. Users, however, are not completely at fault. The firms' poor administration of the usage of their bikes and their failure to implement comprehensive solutions have resulted in such behaviour. 카지노사이트주소 The Government, too, needs to take a closer look at the architecture of buildings and find ways to make it easier and safer for the bike users to park their bikes. To ensure that bike-sharing firms internalise the costs of irresponsible bike usage, government intervention is required to impose penalties on firms that fail to inculcate appropriate behaviour when using shared bikes. 바카라사이트주소   The authorities may also need to educate users, for instance, about responsible parking. With the right policies, bike-sharing can provide a more pleasant experience for everyone.

The idea of getting women to serve national service (NS) has not caught on, and I think that we should encourage more women to serve because defending the nation is not just a man's job but that of all Singaporeans.인터넷바카라 Women seek gender equality in society but the idea of women serving NS has not become popular, likely due to the notion that women are smaller and not as fit as men. However, such factors should not stop anyone as both men and women will become stronger - both physically and mentally - when they serve NS. 카지노사이트 n fact, everyone learns discipline, perseverance and teamwork in the army; all skills that will be useful later in life. NS also helps build confidence, independence and maturity. Recently, at a two-day Women's Boot Camp organised by Ang Mo Kio Women's Executive Committee, girls and women from the age of 13 and above were given a taste of the day-to-day routines of full-time national servicemen. 온라인카지노   The camp aimed to help participants decide if they were keen on joining the Singapore Armed Forces Volunteer Corps. Such programmes, I hope, will help more women like me to get some encouragement and inspiration, and bring us closer to a day when both men and women serve NS.
